Hang in there man... Withdrawal symptoms don't last for ever, and life is great on the other side.

Your numbers are bs.

Milk has about 13 grams of sugar in 8 Oz.

You could have torn your Achilles 4 weeks ago, got surgery, fell pretty innocently off a curb (completely sober at church) on Tuesday and re-tore it and have to start the entire rehab process over again like I did this week.

It can always be worse.

I'm not calling you a liar, friend... But are you sure about 681 grams a day? That's about 18 Cokes.

I'm going to have a hard time adding up 681 grams of pure sugar...carbs make more sense...but let's see if I can put together a shitty but plausible American diet that gets there.

Breakfast:

Bowl of fruit pebbles (1.5 cups with ~3/4 cup of milk) = 33 grams

Coffee:

Mocha frappuccino = 61 grams

Lunch:

Panera Strawberry Poppyseed Chicken Salad (gotta be healthy, right?) = 27 grams
Panera Homestyle Chocolate Chunk Cookie (common with boxed lunches there) = 50 grams

Afternoon "Pick Me Up":

2 powdered donuts in the workroom = 8 grams

Dinner:

BBQ Chicken Sandwich on Hawaiian Roll (~4 tablespoons of bbq sauce) = 30 grams
Bush's Baked Beans = 12 grams
Cole slaw = 12 grams

Dessert:

Lemon Icebox Pie Slice = 37 grams

Drinks Throughout the Day:

Two 20oz Cokes = 120 grams

That's 363 grams of sugar in what I would call a plausible super fatass American day of eating. Even if you added in a few more cokes, they still wouldn't hit the 681 mark. Has to be total carbs.

I do 240mg of Adderall a day.

Which is more impressive?

I was shocked that alot of the non-Whole fat milk has 30+ grams. You really need to check everything.

A single slice of pizza has 107g of carbs.

While that's way too many carbs it isn't sugar as you implied.

And that is why your doctor should have put you in a cast for six weeks. To protect you from yourself while you heal.

You making it sound worse than detoxing off pains.

Nothing can be worse than that crap. 3days of being restless with no soul, sweating and cold all at the same time.

Is it seriously that bad?

The only time I craved sugar was after a week long booze bender.

Stay up for 5-6days.

Talk about something that is uncontrollable, it is an unstoppble sugar craving. You will literally eat sugar.

You should try meth, it takes all cravings away except the one for meth

Yep. I was in a splint the first two weeks, a cast for two more and then a boot for six more. Accidentally put some weight on it while I was in the splint stage and thought that I had totally messed things up. Hurt like hell but the doc said that the stitches/sutures should hold everything together.

Good job, it’s an accomplishment to cut out that much sugar.. but whatever you do, please resist the urge to replace the sugar with artificial sweeteners like aspartame, which is found in diet soft drinks, Equal, chewing gum and lots of other things.. i made the mistake almost 20 yrs ago, when this thing called Sugar Busters was popular , of cutting out sugar, started with the Diet Coke and stuff- and suffered neurological symptoms that still persist, even though i cut all artificial sweeteners out soon after.. Not everyone reacts to aspartame the way i did, but many, many do and some far worse.. lots of info out there is you feel like researching, but just dont do it

What kind of pizza you eating? . A single slice of a large Dominos Brooklyn style has roughly 1/3 of that.
