I can’t believe something like this would happen there of all places. I remember going there in high school to play a football game and I would have never suspected that place of being a place of violence and drugs. They welcomed us white honkies with open arms. Didn’t throw rocks at us or anything

Unfortunately, the Taco Bell near McKinley burned down about 20 years ago. RIP.

Is McKinley still next to Buchanan Elementary? When I went to Buchanan in 1990-92 there were always McKinley students sneaking out of school and walking through our playground or the drainage canal behind the schools.

Shortcut to the LSU lakes. We normally went the opposite way, toward AM Mart to have a bum buy us booze.
