Streaming live video on a MacBook Pro

Does anybody have any tips for streaming live video on a MacBook? I stream live sporting events on my computer all the time, but I've always had problems with losing the feed, and lately it seems to cut out every minute to the point where it is unwatchable. My browser is Google Chrome.
I know all the websites and I an having issues with all of them. Can anybody help me fix this issue and improve the live streams?

I have a MacBook Pro that's about 4 years old. I use Safari and Firefox and am able to watch games on GeauxZone without any problems. Could it be the Google browser?

It's probably the sites or your Internet, not the computer or browser. Cleaning your caches may help though.

I clear my cache pretty much daily so I don't think that's it. I know the sites streams aren't great but it shouldn't be cutting out constantly
