Strange stuff you've seen or heard in public lately...

This world is a strange place. I am reminded of this fact nearly every time I leave my house. Here are a few examples from this week.
1. We were coming home from Kemah Monday afternoon. We stopped to buy gas at the I10 exit west of Jennings, Louisiana (what town is that?). I had gone inside to buy something to snack on and a bottle of water and to pay for the gas, while my family was using the facilities. I returned to our car and began to pump. I walked around the car to place my water and snacks in the driver seat, but I never opened the door because something like rain was occurring over the car/under the station's canopy...confused at first, it took a few seconds to realize that I smelled gas (strong smell). There was a hole in the gas line! Gas was spraying all over the place (none in my tank). I quickly scanned the area to see if anyone was in danger. The guy on the other side of my pump was smoking a freaking cigarette and was getting sprayed. He was simply standing there, trying to figure out what was spraying him. I yelled at him to haul arse. I then began to run inside to tell them to turn off the pumps. My wife was coming out, so I told her instead. The manger then comes outside and begins to lecture me on the correct way to not spill gas by staying with the equipment and keeping it in the tank. I nearly lost my mind, as I showed her the hole in the line. It took three times for her to understand. $15 worth gasoline was on the ground. Sh*t nearly got real very quickly!
2. While in Kemah, I saw a man in scuba gear, swimming in two feet of water and catching crabs on the bottom of a bay--with his hands. He was wearing gloves, though. That's new to me!!!
3. I went to FYE (Baton Rouge) to look around tonight. While I was checking out the vinyl selection, a man came in to exchange a CD he had bought earlier that day. These are his words: "I bought this CD today, but it is clean, man. There ain't no curse words! It's f***ing clean, bruh. Ain't sh*t on this CD, bruh. I don't want no refund. I want a real f***ing CD."
What type of weird stuff have you seen or heard lately?

Lee's statue is a public nuesence and should be taken away and hidden.
We should dig up people's graves who were associated with the south in the civil war.
We should take the founder of our financial system off of our money.

My old roommate had a record player and an awesome selection of old vinyl records, if possible I would love to build a similar collection. Sadly, that will never happen. Nothing better than some good weather, alcohol, opening all the doors/windows, and cranking some old records.

I was walking into the mall yesterday, and a sloppily dressed, upper teens guy walking about twenty feet behind me was shouting at someone he was on the phone with, a very loud display of his personal grievances about prison...that he "wasn't gonna go back to jail...frick that...I know what that's like..."
