I was thinking about a liquid battery solution for EV’s where you could pull in to an EV station and refill your car with an electrified liquid to recharge your battery.
After thinking about it, we already have that in the form of gasoline or diesel. So why try to make things more complex than necessary.
But wouldn't the most efficient thing be if your car would just keep itself fueled up all the time?

His investment theory is really interesting.
He invested right before the crash in 2008 and lost everything? so he advises not to invest and just spend it all. This should work out great for him.

Fake youtube personas are a huge turnoff.
I guess yutes must like it or something.
It is pretty bad. Who are these guys' role models? This is no way for a man to behave. It's weird. That's all I can say.

Apparently the younger crowd likes hyperactive morons, as it's all an act with him. I posted one of his older vids and he didn't act like he'd just drained a case of Red Bull while freebasing coke in his earlier stuff.
I'd guess there are more 12-20 year olds in the Supercar/Hypercar demographic on Youtube than there are 40+ and that is the market he plays to it seems.

He had to get a hotel. After 12 hours it gave him 63 miles. Gets to town then has to drive to multiple chargers to find one that will get him the rest of the way home. He paid $20 and waited 43 mins while it charged, all for 98 miles of range. Ouch.
And now imagine if EVs were even half of all cars on the road (let alone all) and there were lines at these chargers
We’re a long way from this being usable at all. EVs work if you can afford it, have short city commutes and can charge at home every night

So it would work for our heavy trucks?

quote:More viable than for passenger cars IMO due to the volume availability, but still I think hydrogen has too many problems to be overcome. It's more efficient to extract energy from hydrogen with a fuel cell to produce electricity and drive an EV than it is to combust it in an engine, so it's kind of an unnecessary wasteful conversion step assuming EV charging speeds continue increasing as they have been. There would still be the problem of building out infrastructure to handle hydrogen and distribute it all along our roadways. It's also dangerous.
So it would work for our heavy trucks?
I really like the idea of using hydrogen, but I think it is only viable as grid storage for excess wind/solar/wave/whatever output. As of now wind turbine output for example is often curtailed because there's no cheap way to store it. And although handling hydrogen is expensive, at scale it might be able to compete vs lithium batteries or other storage methods. It's not all that efficient to electrolyze water only to run the hydrogen back through a fuel cell, but if the energy would be wasted otherwise then it's a net gain.
