I was curious which of these were better to go with. I find the sacks look a little silly but good for as they get a touch older.

i did the swaddle sack with wings for a few weeks. after a month my girl loved having her arms out and moving around and would get pissed if you took that away

I'll take it. I know a few people in the program and some teachers from my work at vermilionville. Can't hurt to learn more though.

The sleep sacks are awesome. I will buy them whenever I have a baby for sure. Even with the best swaddle....babies can wiggle out of them. They can't wiggle out of the sleep sack though. I've had much nicer nights when I've worked in the NICU and all my babies are in sleep sacks. I spend less time running from baby to baby rewrapping them cause they have kicked out of a swaddle and are upset and screaming.
Another thing...Mama Roos....those things are like the cadillac of swings(I think they are like $200-$250) but wow, those things are miracle workers on fussy babies. We will have drug babies(babies withdrawing from meth or whatever drug) who you can't settle down for anything...put them in a mama roo and they go right to sleep. If it soothes a drug baby....it will soothe any baby.

Mama Roos get very mixed reviews. They dont go the speed of a swing so some bigger kids get bored with that said
ours has been clutch from day one. every time we need to eat or put the baby down we just strap her him that baby spaceship and are good to go

Yeah but even if you get one and your baby doesn't like it....you can easily sell it on craigslist or ebay.
Or....donate it to the closest NICU to you....then you know for sure it will be put to good use.

We have one but don't use it much at all. Our babies usually do best sleeping on a boppy on their side. They also like getting into their rock and play in front of the TV. They love watching.

Babies R Us does a thing where if you go over 500 dollars in gifts from the registry, you get 10% back on anything after that. Also, they take back everything easily that you don't need.

put everything you can imagine on your target registry. a few weeks before your due date they send like 4 20% off coupons to help complete it. we would just walk down the aisles add crap to the registry and then go check out
