Gravy I am guessing that the DOJ just overlooked this so called video and never saw it even though they had every single piece of evidence from the case.

Just saw the video where chambers says the DOJ told them the officer put a gun sterlings head and told him "ill fricking kill you, bitch". wonder why the doj didn't mention that in their press conference.

Gravy and the rest of them can say what they like. If that video was to exist and that is what really happened then the DOJ's decision would had been much different.

The problem is, even though the US Attorney laid out all the facts in an understandable manor, the people listening aren't able to understand the grammar they use. Pointing a gun at someone's head is much different than putting a gun to someone's head. 2 very similar sentences with totally different meanings, and the family are running with the one that vilifies the officers. If you've ever spent time in that area of the city you would know that literacy and comprehension is a big problem, that's why I've said before that the only way to make a change in the city is through education. A riot could possibly be fueled by a syntax error.

ETA: Can someone fill me in on the reason for Jeff Landry investigating the officers now. I know that the feds were just looking at this as a civil rights violation case, and Landry is having this investigate as state criminal charges. I feel like the feds would have looked at this from a lot of angles to get these guys especially with Obama and Lynch in office. WTF is Landry hoping to stick these guys with, is he turning out to be a little bitch RINO that I always thought he was or is this investigation proper procedure.

If I am not mistaken if standard procedure. The Feds investigated it for civil rights violations and now the LSP will investigate it for criminal intent.
