So we should always do what a cop with a HS education says or else we deserve to be shot? Most cops aren't very savvy of the law.

The videos show the officers as they arrived on scene and engaged with Sterling. The videos show that the officers directed Sterling to put his hands on the hood of a car. When Sterling did not comply, the officers placed their hands on Sterling, and he struggled with the officers. Officer Salamoni then pulled out his gun and pointed it at Sterling’s head, at which point Sterling placed his hands on the hood.
Not really a good look
Here is the thing about that. Ever seen police make a felony stop on a vehicle? Guns are drawn. In this instance they are dealing with a convicted felon that is supposed to be armed and had is being investigated for another felony. Drawing a weapon on him is absolutely in the scope of reasonable use of force.
Use of force continuum doesn't have to go each step and can escalate up or deescelate down as the situation dictates.

No I'm not. If I were, they'd all be lawyers

Me too.
Admins won't do it but I would just ban the account and any other account linked to it when they don't even try to make it clever or halfway believable

Well obviously that is not a literal statement. There are limits. But as a general rule yes.

Well I just don't agree. If that's you're take then sometimes self defense by the "suspect" is justified.

They then retrieve a fully loaded .38 revolver from his right pocket

So now the debate is going to change to when can a cop point his gun at the head of a perpetrator.

I am going to get downvotes again but they tell confusing instructions. Sometimes instructions are conflicting, and then one threatens the perp. At least once a night on live pd
It's like they don't both stop telling conflicting instructions until one coo goes alpha and threatens to use force

You know what I meant. Most understand what is within their rights as officers under the law.

That is not what I said. If you run or hit a cop you should be shot. Maybe that is a little harsh though. How about the cop has to be shot at least once and then radio back to a HR rep to get authorization to shoot back?

So you have a poorly educated aggressive person that doesn't know the law pointing a gun at your head and your best idea is to not comply? Not real big on self preservation are you?
