I also love how not gravy, the family, or anyone who thinks the cops are guilty will ever mention that just a few years back Alton was arrested for LITERALLY the exact same thing and only reason he didn't get to his gun that time was because it fell out of his waistband when struggling with officers....This time he learned from that situation and put it in his pocket so it couldn't fall out.

He had multiple chances to avoid that night. He made repeated poor choices. Let's not act like the cops drove to his house and murdered him.

This. It was his choice not to listen. He paid the ultimate price, but it was his choice. Tough shite.

And how the hell was he even on the street after that arrest? I thought Felon in possession of a firearm was a pretty serious offense. The Trudy White Special?

No. Shawn is just mad bc I don't like cops and he is clearly one. Typical of the profession to not be able to accept any kind of accountability or responsibility for his or his brothers actions. Can't even indirectly comment on them without him stalking me in threads.

He's also mad my privilege outweighs his.

Na that bat shite crazy loon won't show up her because we would be "too mean" and she would have to retreat to her "safe space"....

Although we do have over $360 for her and another about $200 if she gets Gravy to join in if she does a Q&A...that will go pretty far for certain bills she can't afford.

the information about the officer pulling the gun and pointing it to his head and saying, " I will kill you" was just released today. There was no opportunity for it to be considered during the investigation.

If CNN is saying that, they've got it fricked up. It may have just been released to the public today, but the DOJ discovered it in the course of their investigation. I'm sure they considered it.

I listened to the whole DOJ presser this afternoon. Salamoni drew his weapon when the incident first started because Sterling wouldn't put his hands in the hood of the car. The US Attorney (Corey Amundsen?) said Salamoni pointed it at Sterling's head. Lake tazered Sterling, knocking him to his knees and Salmoni holstered his weapon. Sterling tried to get back up, Lake unsuccessfully tried to taze him again. Salamoni tackled him and that's when the wrestling match on the ground started between the three of them.

The DOJ used videos from one dash cam, two body cams (which got knocked off in the struggle, but still provided good audio, two cell phones (chick in the car and owner of the store) and the Triple S surveillance system.

The US Attorney made very clear and emphasized a couple of times that because of the angles and the fact that Sterling was partially under the front of the car, none of the video showed Sterling trying - or not trying - to reach in his right pocket with his right hand in the moments before he was initially shot. This was part of their justification in not bringing charges. They could not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Sterling wasn't trying to draw his weapon.

He had a .38 revolver loaded with six rounds. Contrary to what several posters previously claimed, the gun was not fired nor was Sterling wounded in the leg. Salamoni shot him six times. Three in the chest initially, and then three in the back.

Typical cop. Spinning what I said to fit his narrative.

I speculated that is what would happen. The fact that it already did happen without my knowledge only proves my point.
