If that did happen, can you blame the man for not listening to orders and trying to get away?

Wtf? Let's pretend that the family lawyer isn't just making shite up for a second. You are saying that your first reaction to a cop putting a gun to your head would be to resist and give him every reason to shoot you?

So because the facts do fit charges against the officers, we need to start pretending shite happened?

I don't know if that's the smartest move, but it's the same as if it were any street thug putting a gun to your head. Badges and uniforms don't give people the right to intimidate, threaten, assault, or kill people. That's a concept that is lost on many "small government" conservatives.

No his posts and his previous username indicate that he is just a cop hater.

It's not the same as a thug putting a gun to your head and it's not only is it not a smart move, it's illegal.

It certainly gives them the right to intimidate to a certain extent. They have to intimidate to establish control over certain situations.

To hell with that. Maybe people should stop worrying about controlling other people. That goes for a lot of different issues.

Damn! That's just sad.

Maybe next time he gets in trouble he will call a street thug for help.

Cops either control the situation (people) or they should just stay home.

To play along with these morons. Why not just hold him at gun point until 10 cops arrive? Would that deter the criminal from resisting?

I'm confused about Alton's family tree. How many kids did he have?

This article Family of Alton responds
quotes 3 women as being mothers of his children, and names 5 children.

The oldest child is quoted as saying

"I have my brothers and sisters to look after. Eleven of them. I have to look after every last one of them because guess what, I'm that next legacy. I'm here after my dad. My dad is now long gone, so now I'm here so I'm that legacy and I have to look after those kids."

Why would he have to look after all 11 now? Wouldn't it just be Alton's other 4? Or did Alton have more than 5 kids and this article didn't list them all?
