Statute of limitations for Camera red lights

Received a ticket today for a traffic violation in 11/2014. Almost 1.5 years from violation to issuance. Anyone know the statutw of limitations in these--if any?

There is none. Don't pay it.

It's not so much the traffic ticket you worry about. It's the FTA warrant that will be issued.

Louisiana has prescription, not statutes of limitation. That will be 500 bucks.

I've received a couple in lafayette, going 5 and 7 over. I paid the one I was doing 10 over, but 5 and 7 over is BS.
The only thing they did was send me a collection notice, but my credit score hasn't taken a hit so Lafayette can go f' itself.
I live off a two lane road where the f'n speed limit is 40 mph, but I received tickets at 40 and 42 in a 35 on a four lane blvd with a raised median and no direct access to driveways.

I'm not saying it's right or fair. I just know that when I was a deputy, if a citation wasn't paid or you didn't show in court, a warrant was issued.

not statutes of limitation.
...wait a minute, I thought they voted to remove all of these....

I wish someone would put a bullet in the red light camera at Sherwood and Coursey in Baton Rouge. I've gotten 2 tickets there.
Yeah they were both my fault, but that's not the point. If I get a ticket I want it from a real POS cop doing his job.

Personally I'd rather they be doing real work rather than pulling your dumbass over. Clearly that would be a delayed process anyways since you have shown an inability to stop when appropriate...

those tickets accrue interests daily. Protect your assets

That camera flashes everything.
I've gone to court and gotten both dismissed, so frick off.
Eta: and if you knew anything about BR crime rate, sadly, you would know that BRPD doesn't do shite.

We are in Qatar right now, they have them everywhere as well, apparently the tickets are in the thousands though if you roll through... That's going to be a nightmare if someone ends up getting one

It's just an excuse for lazy cops to be more lazy. The crime rate here us too high for that bullshite. Cops prefer to do inspection sticker checkpoints and let cameras do their jobs, versus patrolling. Go by any Picadilly at lunch or dinner time and you will see at least 5 BRPD units there.
