Seems like they should be well-qualified to discuss all the reasons there are to, you know... not live in Louisiana.

Off street parking? I live in what they refer to as West Riverside, have a nice long driveway. No issues.
No profiling, no stopping.

No off street parking unfortunately.

All of Uptown and the Garden District is plagued with an epidemic of car burglaries right now. It's fricking unnerving.

2nd time I've been hit this year, luckily the first time I left my doors unlocked. Will probably do that going forward to avoid having to replace a window.

I really liked living in that area. Thought it was one of the best stretches of Magazine. Nothing to make parking a bitch and was close enough to two great stretches that walking was easy.

To the best of my knowledge our block hasn't been hit. I attribute it to all the security lights hanging on the poles. Every house pays for one and the stretch is lit like Arse on gameday.

*I'll probably go out to broken glass tomorrow morning now.

How about signs and cams, I've installed them on my and one adjacent property with SIGNS! Also, lights, make them go next door where it's dark. Good luck man.

I have signs, Motion and spot lights all around the house and I even pay $20 a month for an Entergy security spotlight they installed for me on a telephone pole that shines on my driveway. 4 security cameras and 2 RING doorbells and a yappy little dog that barks at his own shadow. It’s about as much as I can do short of having a 24/7 security guy sitting outside like Latoya does or just chaining up a pit bull in the front yard.

You don't even have a sidewalk though.

And that's why you get ticketed for blocking them
