Gray? It can be spelled that way or "grey". I think both are acceptable.

How do people in Pennsylvania misspell "cancelled"? "Cancelled" and "Canceled" are both correct. Are they using an "s"?

I thought GRAY and GREY were both correct.

BAW should've been in there somewhere.

Massachusetts residents apparently can't even spell the name of their state.

Is gray a spelling mistake? Isn't grey an alternate spelling?

quote:

Grey or gray (see spelling differences) is an intermediate color between black and white. It is a neutral or achromatic color, meaning literally that it is a color "without color".[2] It is the color of a cloud-covered sky, of ash and of lead.[3]

I was surprised Alabama wasn't cousin but then I thought maybe they're so familiar with the word they eventually taught themselves to spell it correctly.

I've never understood why so many people misspell definitely.

The worst is I often see "defiantly" for "definitely". I can understand replacing the 'e' with an 'a', but there's no way "defiantly" looks like "definitely".
