7thWardTiger, you live in NOLA and I'm not surprised. I've heard a LOT of stuff from family over the years (we're from NOLA), and I'm inclined to believe it. We used to live on Urquarht right by the cemeteries and my brother and sisters used to see balls of light going through the house all the time.

There are two places I would love to know if they are haunted: I'd like to know if people have had exeriences at the old castle-like 2nd Methodist Church on Bergundy (I think it is...my brother used to hear singing when he was in there alone), and I wonder sometimes about my grandmother's old camelback on Dauphine Street. They lived there from the early 30s to the early 70s and I can't help but wonder if they're still hanging around there.

I have lived in a haunted place before. It'll freak you out and creep you out at first. But it sounds like the one you have there isn't harmful. If they're not evil or harming you, there's really nothing to be afraid of. Buy a digital voice recorder, and next time something happens in front of you (the spring vibrating or a door opening), try to communicate. Start recording, ask them if they used to live there. Ask why are they still here. Ask if they want to harm you. Make sure you state it clearly that you are not afraid of them and you want to communicate, but you do not give permission for them to touch you or your girl.

I have some stories of my own that I've told on this board before.

mrs hbt swears the apartment im in is haunted. i could see it being possible as its a older place.

she says she can feel something rub her arms and stuff in the kitchen and she thought it was me but I was in the living room.

ive never really heard,felt or saw anything in this apartment though but i wouldn't freak out if i did. id have a good time with the ghost. i believe if you show it fear it will mess with you.

so im guessing the sounds she was hearing and the bugs were her step son letting large bugs in and him must making noises?

actually thinking about it i take back the not experiencing any thing in my place. a few weeks ago i had these random scratches on my shoulders. it was the weirdest shite

Ummm no. He didn't live there. Stayed there on occasion. Stuff happened every night. Not little bugs. 1-2 foot critters. All sorts of other stuff she told me that I can't even remember. Been about 10 years ago.

mrs hbt said they looked like sex scratches but they were going down my shoulders left to right instead of up and down.

it was weird because one side was 3 distinct lines evenly spaced and the other had 3 lines but would come together.
