Could be that, or it could be the part at the end where she suggests that the world would be a better place if millions of black people were still in slavery.

I know this girl and her family personally, the parents are great people, so is she. I honestly have no clue why she would write something like that, she really isn't a bad person.
I don't see anything wrong with it, she is expressing her opinion, but maybe do it in a little more subtle way
you don't see anything wrong with overt racism and lamenting that slavery was abolished?
Know how I know you're a racist POS?

Seriously? I'm no Gary Chambers fan, but there is a lot wrong with what she wrote. If a black girl wrote the same thing the other way around, I would say she is wrong.
Doesn't matter what the media says about it (bashing white girl, praising black girl). Forget the media, what she wrote is wrong and absolutely stupid.

Not at all, I could have went to any High School in BR and I chose SMHS because the majority of my friends were going there. I chose them over CHS but I wouldn't change a thing, I still kept all my friends at CHS and I made new friends at SMHS, Parkview, U-High, etc.
Your claims of saying all SMHS students are trash is baseless and ignorant. You have no clue who I am or the other students who go there are.

Who leaked the paper?
I feel like in this situation the teacher and perhaps a guidance counselor, maybe the principal, should have talked with the student privately.
Did they have to present the paper in front of the class or something?
I feel like Bishop Sullivan leaked this because they're still trying to get over their namesake diddling kids and the bad rep that came from that. So they leak this and punish the student so people think they're woke and down for the cause.
When handling it privately would have kept it quiet and no one would know.

A black person writing stuff like that about whites would be completely mainstream and acceptable
Where would this be acceptable at the high school level, regardless of race?

quote:is she slow? Serious question
don't think she fully understands the gravity of what she said
Saying that you hate all black people and that it might have been good to uphold slavery.....hard to believe that a person of average intelligence does not understand the intent of such a message
If I were running the school, she would have to leave.

I banged a few Bishop Sullivan girls when I was at LSU.

No fricking way. Don't you try and make this anything but what it is. Her mama drives 15 minutes west on 12 and Exits at Oneal Lane to bring her to school.

To my knowledge she is a fully competent girl, I just don't think she fully thought out what she was saying.
I mean can you blame her? The black community as of late has been ripping communities apart and starting rife over nothing...

St. Michael would not have to deal with this had the diocese not decided to close Redemptorist.
Stupid white kids had to go somewhere...
Keep Redemptorist out of this.
Everyone knows St Michael's is where all the SJA/CHS rejects go.
