Look more name calling. Zero topics debated. Just don’t hear what you want so you just call people racist and names because you have NOTHING ELSE.

Yes I do.
1.Prairieville isn’t a city
2. Prairieville didn’t draw lines around certain neighborhoods to get to those numbers
3, Prairieville is whoever came and bought a house.

But great points. Keep hanging on to insignificant points to keep the dream alive, all the while calling other people dumb.

Why are you so hung up on calling me a racist??? I moved to Prairieville, actually Geismar who has a larger minority population than Prairieville, for 1 reason Dutchtown highschool. If that makes me a racist in your little mind then keep clinging to that. No matter how retarded that point is. But also understand the minorities that moved here for the exact reason as I did would also be hating minorities. Please stick to the topic of St George and post facts that disagree with what I’ve said. Leave the 7th grade name calling and race baiting out of it. It makes you look dumb and weak.

Down voting racial make ups of an area that was pulled from the census bureau website. LMAO. See you don’t care about facts you care about your feelings. How fricking sad.

Your ignorance to what systems and institutions created racial issues is hilarious to watch while you try to make "muh racism" arguments.

Drawing lines around minority neighborhoods and schools to get a city passed isn’t considered racist?? That’s what you’re standing on??

They were included in the first effort. Hardly any signed the petition.

They clearly didn't want to be in St.G.

If that's the case, why should they be included and allowed to influence the vote?

Can you go back and look at what the original lines looked like and let us know what they looked like?

They should go ahead put up the constitutional amendment this session. It takes 1.5 years after passing the amendment before they can actually open schools because they need time to hire all the employees then enroll students.

One of the larger opposition groups against St. George was Magnet parents but the new EBR superintendent has alienated them and the may not oppose now.

It's not racist if the intention was to respect the voices of those minorities who didn't want to be part of it. That's giving marginalized groups agency.

However, you saying those marginalized groups were harmed by their own choice, because you base it off how you would have chosen, is pretty racist.

And you celebrating an area that was built on institutional and systemic racism and proclaiming it is a racial success story (while not explaining how an area naturally becomes 80-90% white in a 50-50 overall geographic area) is the height of irony given your overall stance. Just because Prairieville didn't have signs that said "no black people allowed" doesn't mean it wasn't built on systemic and institutional racism. In fact, that's largely the only explanation for how it became so white.

Im not. Im hung up on you calling people you've never met racists.

Do you not realize the minority areas removed from the original map requested their removal or were you too busy in Ascension parish that week to give a shite what was going on in another parish?

Drawing lines to include proponents and exclude opponents is the American way. It’s been that way for centuries. Baton Rouge did it to get the CATS tax passed. Democrats and Republicans do it all over the country every ten years.

I remember when the first SG petition was passed around that opponents bitched about how people that were included in the first SG district didn’t want in and would be forced in if the petition was successful and the vote was successful. This was a big deal at the time.

Now opponents are flipping the script after SG organizers smartly drew the lines to include those who want more control over their tax dollars and out of the EBRSS. Now they are playing the race card because intellectually that’s all they have.
