The ones now experiencing second thoughts probably won't vote anyway.

Isn't that how most elections are? Haha

Ok simple. When the petition drops if ever. Even more businesses will leave before the vote. Going back to my statement you'll be lucky to keep Seigen WalMart. Also the SEBR school district was just a stepping stone to St George city period. A school district that over 50 percent of the kids are sent to private school makes zero sense. That will not change even If you get your own city or school district. LSU by casino and Town Center will be next and quickly. After that happens then you can come back and say I don't know what I'm talking about.

I don't know the dynamics, but do the cities of Central, Zachary, Baker, Baton Rouge get to vote on this?

I would love for him to be Lt Gov. No real decisions to make and screw up. Just hosts some festivals.

This tells me exactly how ignorant you are. You can joint Russian in the clueless corner.

It was actually the straw that broke the camels back and it was a last resort measure. If that was successful, we wouldn't even be having discussions about St. George.

Oh really?
There is NOTHING in the link you provided which supports your earlier statement in this thread about my supposedly lack of knowledge of the sheriff's jurisdiction.
You are the one who refuses to acknowledge the current cooperative agreement between the sheriff and the BRPD to assist in the unincorporated areas of the parish that would become St George would go away, thus the police and security protection in SG would definitely suffer.
Or, as has been my contention all along, taxes in SG would have to be increased to pay for the extra police protection that SG would lose.
Why do you keep lying? Is it all you've got to go on?

Mutual aid agreements aren't going anywhere. You are making assumptions, again. I said nothing about jurisdiction. You didn't know that ebrpso is already funded. I'm not going to engage your stupidity.

Agreed. Kip as Lt. Gov would be great and he wouldn't be in charge of anything consequential.

It's going to fail. And when it does, it will be good news for all the people of Baton Rouge.
Good luck funding schools with the convenience stores off the interstate. That will be all that is left.

Livingston Parish did it with little more than that for years. Had some impressive schools.

In reference to the 51%...for the voters in the St. George area...if 10k people vote...only 5001 have to be in favor and poof...City of St. George. Does NOT have to be 51% of the total voters...for shits sake

And Juban crossing is only going to supplement it even further?

I corrected myself, as I juxtaposed 2 numbers. There was no mistaken belief. You on the other hand have a very long lis of idiotic statements regarding SG, and when proven wrong you either call people names or ignore it. Tell us how 9+2-2=11. All you can try to point out on me is a typo. Good job dude.
