The tax district will change and BR will either have to pay St George FD to cover the area or build new facilities. The locations of BRFD stations are not close enough to meet the much needed rating minimums. From what I’ve been told, BR already has plans to relocate two stations and build two new stations near the mall and L’Auberge.

Initially the mall was in the proposed SG city because all of EBR south of the city limits was included. This included the good and the bad areas.
In the second SG incorporation effort the leaders became more selective. Areas that had a low % of signatures or showed no interest were not included. Thus the anchor stores of the mall and other nearby commercial areas were not included even though they once were and are in the SGFD.
SG doesn't want the Mall now.
