That said, what's up with the sliver of St.G. boundary that juts all the way north, past I-12, 190, and the RR tracks? There's got to be a reason for that, huh?
Probably to share a boundary with Central, but also possibly due to a real estate prospector. Maybe plan B is to get annexed into Central.

Zachary school district is expanded beyond city as well I think (and maybe Baker as well).
Were their final boundaries drawn up before districts official created with state constitutional amendment process and statewide vote or after districts created through the amendment process?
Wondering if EBR gave up additional area in some kind of allowed negotiation after votes creating Zachary and Central school districts or if boundaries have to also be created as part constitutional amendment process and are drawn up and known before put on ballot and voted on and can’t be changed without same process.
You would think if in future there is any development in areas in north or parish are better served by Zachary and/or Central school districts and EBR district actually agrees there would be a simpler process that didn’t involve a state wide constitutional amendment vote.
