Flats are overrated. After your sophomore year nobody will care that you are in a frat

most good fraternities at LSU don't take people in the spring through formal rush

Gman6789, pay close attention to this advice and don't forget it.

The process works like this: you basically get coordinated by whoever is in charge of Greek Affairs at LSU to go to each house for a recruitment event. Usually there are multiple events going on at the same time. You will pick your favorite fraternities and interact with the guys one more time. After that, you have to make your decision. Later, you're notified if you received a bid to join the fraternity or not.

Don't be scared of the process. It'll be explained to you shortly and don't stress over this bid signing.

Remember, this is a BIG choice. I know it's a lot to take in Do not choose some whack arse fraternity!

Things to look for while you're at the houses, see: how pretty the girls are there, how they are dressed (do they wear name-brand clothing?), how they talk about their relationship with other fraternities (not exactly a blackball, but if they have beef with another fraternity-- there may be ill-will within the LSU body and some people may form a bad image of you), how friendly they are and connect with you beyond formalities.

If you ever need help with anything, just let me know.

You must be out of college for awhile. Pretty much all Fraternities have some sort of Spring Rush now, even if it's just a few guys
