Spray-on synthetic pot mailed to OCC leaves 7 facing charges

Two Monroe women and five men are facing multiple charges after contraband was allegedly sent to inmates at Ouachita Correctional Center.

Andrianna C. Massey, age 25, Monroe is accused of criminal conspiracy and taking contraband to a penal institution after she allegedly sent an inmate a paper sprayed with synthetic marijuana.

OCC officials inspecting letters on Feb. 7 located one piece of cotton fiber paper colored with blue crayon. According to the arrest warrant, investigators have worked prior contraband cases involving liquid synthetic marijuana being sprayed on cotton paper.

The inmate asked Flintroy about buying some "yell" from him, and said his girl would take care of the rest. The warrant states "yell" is used to refer to illegal narcotic activities.

Willis said he wanted one or two good ones, and Flintroy said he had a couple of items already "painted up," or paper already sprayed.




I've never heard of such a thing. Spray on synthetic marijuana? What will they think of next.
