Old guys like me go to a barber shop to insure we get the back of our necks shaved with a straight razor. I feel like Clint Eastwood every time they do it.

Also know this guy. His dumbass was too busy watching tv and Dident realize ther fricked up his hair.

When I was a kid they would put the heated shaving cream. I still rather a chick cut my hair now.

They still do that. My barber is right down the road from LaTech and has one early 20's hottie working. Sometimes she does mine. I see a lot of the young guys that come in wait for her chair to be open.

Is what worth the experience? A typical barber is what, $15? A cut and shampoo at Sport Clips is about $20 if I remember correctly. I used to go to one because it was by my office and I had just moved to Houston from Metry and didn't know anyone. Used to love me some Rooster Comb when I lived in Metry. At SC,I found the quality to be drastically different depending on the stylist but I kept going back because I loved getting a shampoo so I wasn't itchy the rest of the work day. I think it's pretty telling the good stylists don't seem to stay for long.
I've since found a good, convenient. old school barber in Houston that will even do a straight-edge shave with a hot towel if I ask for it. He's much better at my hair and a cut and shave runs me $25 or $15 without the shave. Seek out a good barber, they're better for men's cuts, the prices are better and the bulk of the charge doesn't go to some shitty franchise that shits on their employees.
