Building a new house, you can $500-$1000 yourself to death and blow your budget quickly if you don't have discipline. Also, if it's in EBR, don't forget about the Traffic impact fees and Sewer Impact Fees --

That's nothing. Around Denver metro, numerous municipalities charge around $50,000 for just awater tap fee. And that's got for every housing unit, condo or house. It's why no home builders are building anything under the low 300s, and those are small and built like crap. It's an outrageous hustle.
