I think they are just wired that way. Deep down we are still all animals. They see a guy that is able to have a relationship and they assume he is a good provider and an attractive mate since someone of the same species must feel the same.

Am I the only one who thinks a lot of females like guys who are already taken? I feel like everytime I've gotten into a relationship more girls than ever seem interested.. Just the way it goes. They want what they can't have.

Its because we are better people when we are in relationships.

Some of the best dialogue from the movie Departed

Ellerby: How is your wedding coming along?
Colin Sullivan: Great, great; she's a doctor.
Ellerby: That's outstanding.
Colin Sullivan: Yeah.
Ellerby: Marriage is an important part of getting ahead: lets people know you're not a homo; married guy seems more stable; people see the ring, they think at least somebody can stand the son of a bitch; ladies see the ring, they know immediately you must have some cash or your cock must work.
Colin Sullivan: Yeah, it's working... Overtime!
Ellerby: I'm glad to hear that.
Colin Sullivan: Yeah... Thank you.

When I got engaged, I had 3 ex GF's contact me within 6 months wanting to get together and catch up on old times.

That ain't no coincidence

When I broke off my engagement the same thing happened! I don't know what that means other than women are whores no matter your relationship status.

Always seem that you are taken in some manner, even if you aren't, yet always be ready to seize upon the opportunities your deception affords.

I was with my gf shopping not to long ago and wanted to make her mad, so I started flirting with the girl helping us and got her number before we left. Well she went to hand it to me but the gf grabbed it and started bitching.

This sums up Omar:
quote:

State's Atty. Ilene Nathan: And what is your occupation?
Omar Little: Occupation?
State's Atty. Ilene Nathan: What exactly do you do for a living, Mr. Little?
Omar Little: I rip and run.
State's Atty. Ilene Nathan: You?
Omar Little: I robs drug dealers!

He said " a mans gotta have a code" and if you like that stupid Game of Thrones show you would LOVE The Wire. Its 100x better, its the best tv show ever and pretty much anyone who has ever watched it would agree.

Usually insecure guys that need to attempt to put off the vibe that they think highly of themselves.
