Spinoff St. George- Where would I be from?

I lived in Shenandoah for the first 18 years of my life. Growing up, I was from Baton Rouge and still tell people I'm from/grew up in Baton Rouge.
If St. George passes and becomes a new city- where am I from?
(A) Baton Rouge
(B) St. George
(C) The City Formerly Known As Baton Rouge
(D) Other
(A) This seems disingenuous, because where I grew up isn't anywhere near what would be Baton Rouge moving forward.
(B) Is technically correct in terms of location and how it's defined, but I'll have never lived in St. George.
(C) Could be fun, but would always have to be explained.
If you went to Bishop, you went to Bishop. They didn't retain half the school and rename the part that you attended St. Michael's. Central and Zachary already had names when this happened for them. I just don't know of another scenario to compare this to in order to use that as a guiding light for how to tell people where I'm from.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Shenandoah isn't in BR.
You should say you grew up in Shenandoah. I lived there for about 15 years. Great neighborhood, good prople.

Bitch, I'm from Louisiana.
Did you know they call it "that boot"?

I'm from Central but never lived there when it was incorporated. Our mailing address was Baton Rouge but nobody considered that BR.
I tell people that are familiar with the area that I'm from Central. Obviously most people unfamiliar with the area don't know where that is and I'll just say BR suburbs.

You would say Baton Rouge, tight thread though

This would be the most wrong answer that you listed. Shenandoah has never been in the city of Baton Rouge. Even without incorporating, St. George is still an area of the parish of Baton Rouge (hence the St. George Fire Department).
