Yep. Sad part is I nailed the mom when she was separated. I probably wasn't 3 months over 18 either. Trashy situation all around. I'm ashamed at some of the shite I did when I was younger

What if a dude turned 18 and his 16 year old girlfriends mother had it out for him?

Usually they have Romeo and Juliet exceptions in the law (exempts relationships that were legal and then temporarily become illegal).

because we now lump those who commit a whole lot of minor, non-violent crimes in as sex offenders. That kind of waters down the seriousness of the violent offenders like rapists, etc.

Acquaintance of mine got charged with indecent exposure for taking a leak in the parking lot of a bar. It cost him several thousand in legal fees to stay off the sex offender registry.

and the sex offender registry is terrible and WAY too harsh for a solid % of people on it (note: not everyone in the registry molested a child)

Agree, the laws really need to be fixed there. It's a shitty deal when dudes get caught peeing on a tree at 2am are labeled the same as 40-year-olds that molest their niece in the eyes of the law.

It kinda waters the whole meaning down.

It's not just judges. We had a thread recently where other posters were sucking off a piece of shite that brutally murdered a young girl.
