Maybe that's not the only thing you should be looking for in that mirror. You might also look a little further to see the circumstances that led to what appears there.
I'm not preaching here, and certainly not coming from a holier-than-thou point of view. But the question, "How might I have turned out under less fortunate circumstances?" seems a worthwhile one to ask in this matter.

In my line of work I run into a lot of trashy people. I honestly believe they have no idea. They are usually the ones who have no problem opening their mouths and letting everyone know exactly how trashy they are.
On a related note, have you ever noticed that trashy people insist on eating steaks and meat well-done? They are scared shitless of eating meat with any pink in it.
