Spillway railroad track

What is going on at the railroad tracks on the spillway at I10 in LaPlace?

Are they replacing the track while it’s still active?

That section is haunted. Ghost activity has been reported there.

Do you remember when that trestle caught on fire? It was pretty gnarly.

Yep - they did the same thing with the tracks over Bayou Manchac at Santa Maria. Amazing how they can do that.

The pile supports are very old cypress. They are replacing all of them.
