If you have ATT get the Call Protect app. Works fine for me.
Edit- sorry just saw that was already posted.

Does AT&T Call Protect need to be left running at all times, once installed?

Get RoboKiller. Someone on here had recommended it about 4 months ago. Best $5 I've ever spent on an app EVER! Catches every single spam call

If any of you have AT&T and haven't already downloaded the "AT&T Call Protect" app, I highly recommend it. Someone mentioned it on here in one of these threads and it will not only show you if it believes a call is a telemarketer, but it actually blocks some calls. After installing the app the volume of these robocalls that actually gets through and rings has decreased significantly for me
Same here!

Once a month I get a Indian guy that I can barely understand. Something technologies (scam)that says my email isn't working. Says his name is Richard jones. Yea , sure MF ! Cussed him out and told him I'm reporting him and phone # to the authorities.

Another trick they have is letting it ring once and hang up. Apparently a lot of people will call back unknown numbers. Then they know they have a live fish on the line.

I downloaded Mr. Number for Android, it lets you know that it's a known spam number and also will tell you the person's or business name calling if it's private cell number or a business name.

I've been job searching, so I'm getting about a half dozen a day.

I have been having some luck, answering them, and giving the person serious perverted talk, especially when they are female. Mine are down probably 80%
