At some point in time, sometime presumably soon, this has to absolutely decimate undeveloped countries that can not enforce social distancing, much less coordinate widespread testing and medical care. It is quite interesting that this is a major story for developed countries while we should have some good data points from unmitigated areas.

No it’s not, but the percentage increase dropping has to happen for the curve to fall. That is a fact, so in that regard this is a good sign. Clearly we need to see a trend for this to mean anything, and we won’t know the whole story until 2021 or after.

800 deaths a day in Spain is like 5600 deaths a day here from a per capita stand point.
I hope we don’t get to the point we are losing almost 2 9/11s worth of civilians a day because a China man ate a bat.

African’s will be wiped out but won’t know what’s causing it. The biggest outside influencers on the continent are the Chinese as well. So they certainly aren’t going to spread the word that Covid is there and killing them left and right.
