They're trying to get both side boosters and the central booster all recovered for the first time.

That is really amazing. The side boosters landing doesn’t even look real.

It’s like lawn darts, but for planets.

That’d make an excellent IN gif.

Pretty damn amazing.

I've thought it strange that they always try to capture the central over open water. If it has some re entry burn capability, why not send it back to solid ground?

Probably not enough fuel to send it back

Launch starts at about 19:35 of video. Pretty awesome close ups and then the next 9 minutes are awesome as well.

Yep. It has a longer burn time thusly going further. It can’t make it back.

Which leads me to wonder if they sacrifice the boosters to increase burn time for higher pushes for bigger payloads. But that would take away the kickass landings.

That's all I could think of.

It's a moot point if Elon can land it on a fricking droneship. That's seriously amazing.

The Raptor rockets were test fired on a tether last week at the Texas site.

Those are for the StarHopper, to go to Mars.

Elon is fricking running circles around everyone right now.
