SpaceX YouTube of Tonight's Starlink Launch

Launch of the Falcon IX and orbital insertion of the Starlink satellites went as planned... but then something went wrong as the booster returned to Earth and tried to land on the drone ship in the Atlantic

The landing burn (which slows the falling booster down as it reenters the Earth's atmosphere) starts fine... but then when it was time for shutdown... it seemed like something went wrong at that point

Telemetry from the booster was then lost

Later... when they switch to the camera on the drone ship for the booster's landing... you can see the sky turn orange like the landing burn started but the booster never landed... after a minute or so the woman doing the play-by-play had to admit the booster landing had failed

This particular booster had been used 5 times previously with no issues

Was the drone ship called “You Know I Still Love you” or something like that?

Knowing Elon they probably predicted they’d have a failure at some point. 5 reuses is pretty insane, NASA would never do that, they’d rather burn money by using new rockets everytime. (Pun intended)
