Pretty sure you discovered an airplane in extreme low-earth orbit.

The ISS doesn't have any blinking lights.

Wanted to bump because I forgot to update last night. Took my 3 year old out to see it. She was fascinated. We spent time after looking at pictures of the station and astronauts. She informed me she wanted to be an astronaut. I was totally cool with that.

But had a cool moment during the sighting.

"Wow dad it's a shooting star!"
"Well honey, it's not a shooting start."
"Is it little moon?"
Wait for it....

"That's no moon. It's a space station."

sounds corny but my mom was at oschner last summer receiving treatment for cancer. i told her about the iss fly over and we watched it together while talking on the phone (while i was in madison). was a cool moment listening to her excitement when she saw it.

btw, did anyone notice the big dipper last night. it was straight up (insert joke here)

Don't know what you saw but it wasn't the ISS.

Next direct fly over is June 22 @ 8:45.

Making a note to be listening on the ham radio on that date/time. Been wanting to make an on air contact with ISS. Hopefully someone will be transmitting during this pass.
