No lawsuits over choking to death on a piece of plastic. It's a win win.

Has anyone ever died from a king cake baby?

I think there was a poster that had to be heimliched a couple of years ago on here. You know people in the NOLA area love their king cakes. They'll wait 3 hours in the rain for one.

So how are you gonna prove who has to buy the next one?..the honor system ?

All the boxes contain warnings, and if you’re from anywhere that celebrates Mardi Gras, you should know better

No. You'd probably just quickly cough it up or shite it out a few hours later if you ever almost swallowed or actually swallowed one.

If the person just eats it, how will we know who buys the next king cake?

Since everyone is so honest, I’m sure they’d admit they just ate the baby

If the rare event of someone choking is the price we pay to keep the next king cake assigned to the proper person, so be it.

Exactly - if the person who gets the king cake baby chokes to death, next of kin is responsible for bringing the king cake

Yes, that logic is sound.

And if the next of kin does not bring the king cake, they get run over by a Mardi gras float

Maybe go back to the traditional red bean and break your tooth on something organic

But pure sugar formed into shapes is kinda their wheelhouse.

Change the paradigm, the king cake baby is the whole cake, king cake is hidden inside.
