If your kid is attending LSU, pretty sure they are an adult. Should my MIL be pissed that she wasn't notified when my wife's school (teacher) went on lock down? ETA: I'm a dumbass, let the downvotes commence

Packer, it's the elementary/middle/high school. No, they didn't send any alerts. And the folks in the office don't know anything about it.

We had a bomb threat when I was there. Half of the school knew about it. The other half was allowed to leave.

I forgot that LSU had the school on campus. In that case, that is pretty fricked up and I would be pissed as a parent too.

I wouldn’t care. They got a threat deemed to be mild. LSUPD has the staff and resources to protect and secure the campus from unauthorized visitors and did so.
