Louisiana doesn't allow a prenup to dictate custody. Sole factor is best interest of the child.

That's completely normal to split pensions, IRAa, 401ks with a spouse b/c every contribution while married is treated as co-mingled income aka "$$you earned and would have spent together."

True. But she didn't get a cent from me. Nothing.

I don’t know if there is any state where a prenup can dictate child related matters.

All you can do is reinforce designatations of marital and separate property, and arrange how marital property is split.

I have a buddy who's wife admitted to an affair. He agreed to go to relationship counseling with her to save the marriage. After 4-5 months of counseling she told him she was leaving and wanted a divorce. According to him, because he tried to reconcile the marriage, it's like the cheating never happened and it didn't matter that she was the one leaving him. He's had to pay all of her bills since she left him 9 months ago.

I’m not sure where you live but if you can prove she’s cheating in Louisiana you don’t have to pay spousal support. The problem is that it’s fairly difficult to prove. Good luck and go get all your money out of the bank before she does

Lol whatever. A buddy of mine's wife had a kid years before their split with another person and he still lost the cheating angle in court.

Welcome to Louisiana!!
