I keep the Prime for the streaming

You watch Lore yet, only available for Prime members? Pretty interesting. Introduced me to the Lore podcast which is part of my daily commute now.

Every time I order a Prime product it never gives me 2-day shipping.

So how long does it take to ship to you?

Just ordered something on Prime right now. Seems like as long as I spend over $35, majority of the stuff I order qualifies for same day shipping.

Total first world problem but wtf. I ordered something Prime on Monday. Got an email today that it shipped and should be delivered by November 4.

Check the fine print. Prime is two days from shipping date. Before you check out, make sure you pay attention to when they guarantee the item to be delivered. If the item is not currently in stock, Amazon most likely won't guarantee the item will be at your door in two days (doesn't mean it won't be depending on location).

I've noticed longer guaranteed delivery dates lately. Not sure if its a change in policy or a temporary hiccup in their distribution chain as they attempt to expand.

I gotta say this made me laugh. Can't argue the free shipping schtick on the internet doesn't work!

What's funny to me is Amazon had something on the screen earlier this week telling me I had saved just over $100 on shipping this year. I guess I hit some milestone since my prime is $100 and it notified me. Plus we're not even into Christmas shopping season yet. I'll probably have 20 more orders before the middle of December. I would keep it for the streaming anyway, the fast shipping is just a bonus. I don't even care if it 3-4 days in most cases.

Usually 4 to 5 days. I don't really care because half the time I complain to Amazon and they just refund my money, so I basically get shite for free half the time.

I've never signed up for Prime. I don't order enough to offset the membership cost.
