It's all about the money. I grew up in Columbus, MS and went to State. Twice I bought student season tickets just for the LSU game and sold the rest.
In state tuition and having a job allowed me to graduate debt-free...wish I could have had that opportunity at LSU.

Most ole miss fans actually like LSU more than Oxford, and will openly admit it when you ask them.

I was born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA. I wanted to experience something different and I've always had great times at Ole Miss. I had the choice between LSU, TCU, Alabama or Ole Miss and I chose Ole Miss.

When I came up this summer for rush stuff, the guy rushing me said that same thing and he was from Oxford. He said that a lot of Ole Miss students actually like LSU
