Before I even opened this thread, I knew this had to be something Dan Patrick said

Yes, but it’s still a silly thing to advocate for. He’s imagining that “older people” can completely isolate themselves from “younger people”.

I think that his statement was premature, but I was stating that I don't think he had some nefarious intent when he said what he said.

If that’s the real quote, I agree 100%.

When perverted views of masculinity, spurred on by feelings of inadequacy as masculine roles change, you get idiots like this guy who talks loud as a motherfricker but isn't saying shite.

It wasn't just this Lt. Gov of Texas that has been running his mouth about the olds being perfectly willing to sacrifice their own lives for getting the economy back on track by Easter. Glen Beck and Brit Hume spouted off the same bullshite today.

Had a younger Liberal tell me that a few thousand boomers dying wouldn't be a bad thing.

I was like, how Liberal of you to wish death on people, and if not for those boomers you wouldn't be making union wages as an electrician, dumb frick

I was golfing with 3 boomers last weekend (I'm genX). They ridiculed me for getting my own golf cart, joked around about Corona, and told me it was all hoax. It's like they have no idea that they're the most vulnerable population and this shite is VERY real.

I mean, if that's the attitude boomers are going to bring to the table while people are making great personal sacrifices to keep that generation safe, well, frick em. It's just a fact that old white men fricking looovveee the GOP and Trump. It's like someone on the Twitter said, this is basically becoming the Dow Jones-town Massacre.

about us Boomers

I said in another thread that 20 years ago, when the Greatest were still our ranking seniors, they would have gladly voted to risk their lives again to keep America great.

Of course Boomers would risk the country to save their own assess. Spoiled brats.

Where?

Unless people under 50 are no longer allowed to work in nursing home and hospitals, and unless older people are completely shut off from their kids and grandkids, then the answer is no.
