But testing center tests are the devil...
Speaking of which, first circuits test in the testing center next week FML.

Yeah, LSU thinks it's a good idea to test students in CIRCUITS on multiple choice testing center computerized tests.

Why? I went there and am curious why you say that
I graduated from there too. Only reason BRMHS can compete with Catholic high is that BRH has such a mass number of Asians. Asians( and a few black, white, Hispanic) that come from gifted middle schools like Glasgow and west dale. when I was at that hellhole school, each valedictorian was either from Glasgow or westdale, not Sherwood or McKinley middle. All the gifted kids were smarter then the magnet kids. Glasgow gifted makes BRMHS.

I wish I could send my kids to EHS, but it is too steep for me.
It's like a little college when I saw it. Is it worth it?

Never understood how some white middle class families have multiple kids in private school then pay for college. Like just bite the bullet and send him wherever. Im not saying send him to Scottlandville, but don't blow all this money.

Episocbal is a good school. I understand why you guys want private for your kids. Caring teachers, better activities, sense of community,like0minded parents, better class environment and "non sketchy " friends. Also hot girls
. And think about LSMSA while youre at it. That is the BEST school to send your kids. too. I feel like Catholic High would've been better for me then BRMHS was. Also, mixers with ST Joes

So you don't think it's worth it?
It's a lot of money. For 2 kids, it's about what I make after taxes. It's amazing to me that it could cost so much, and that people pay it.

Yes they do. They get a new one every other year

Guess those are good schools by La standards. But outside of the cesspool, they are shitty. But it's their money, I suppose.

I'm doing it because I work my arse off and can afford it and I won't have to pay for college because a full ride will probably happen at any number of schools across the country at her choosing. It's not blowing money. It's an investment in her future and a very good one. No its not cheap and no it's not for everyone but it fits us perfectly.
BR has other good schools and to each his own.
And for the dude breaking it down he's a bit off base on the transportation fee. I don't use it but it's $2500.00 per year, not say...$250.

Is there anyone who went to private AND public school here? Any thoughts on which you liked better?

And 90% of the parents of kids at that school are probably just like you. Great parents=great kids=great schools.
Love how that kind of stuff works out.

This. I think my son's school has iPads at 7th grade. Students use them through 12th. You always have the option to upgrade.
