If anything I think it was more incompetence on their part.
I think it could've been stopped if all the dots were connected. I also don't dispel the idea that some gov't insiders maybe turned a blind eye to some red flags.
But to think everyone in the gov't, up to the POTUS deliberately let it happen is asinine IMO.

Read up on Operation Northwoods and Operation Mongoose. In 1962, the very top levels of the American military and intelligence establishment were calling for false flag attacks on American civilians to justify an invasion of Cuba and toppling the Castro regime. These plans were scrapped by JFK, who wound up being shot just a year later.
I don't think 9-11 was an inside job, but anyone who thinks our government isn't capable of doing something similar is naive.
