Seems pretty simple. Anyone on here had it done? Complications? Doc recommendations?

Had mine around 2000. I was nervous, but it was a piece of cake. Ice for about 24 hrs, then I was 100%. Not positive, but I think the Dr. I used was Carter. Over by OLOL.

I had complications, and it was a little rougher than what most experience, these days, it's normally a piece of cake, the most important thing, is do exactly what the doc(or opthomologist,) says post-op, don't get up and go to the gym because you're starting to feel good, do exactly what you're told

i did it about 4 years ago

did it on a friday before an LSU away game and laid up all weekend watching football on the couch

went back to work monday

the initial injection was the only part that hurt...the next few days it was just some soreness but nothing bad...i didnt even take any pain meds

i can't remember the doctor i used but it was in the baton rouge clinic on bluebonnet just south of perkins

Maybe you could put your balls in a little jar in formaldehyde on your desk afterwards?

Had the procedure about 12 years ago and it was not bad at all. I was in the front yard throwing baseball with my son on the same day. I never used any ice and didn't take any pain medications. Dr. Stephen Vick at OLOL.

If you don't know how it works, you could just say so.

Drive to Austin to see Dr. Dick Chopp.

He does the most in this area. Probably just because he has such a great name.
