Wondering the same thing.. friend trying to get to NOLA from Houston on Sat for the game on Sat nite.. doesnt seem to be any options, flights are sold out/canceled and driving that day will be a nightmare, doubtful will get to NOLA in time for the game, much less any tailgating... Any ideas?

Not true at all.
Flights from IAH to NOLA are available and the flights from IAH to BR are only half full....per United. This is on United mind you so not sure about the other airlines.
Also, United flights out of IAH will commence tomorrow at lunchtime from *hub-to-hub flights only* until 2pm Thurs. After that, regular flights out of IAH will resume.

Except my United flight for Friday, connecting through Houston was cancelled today.
