This past New Year's Eve , I got a piece of chicken stuck in my throat. I had been having choking problems but just got through it. Well that day I didn't i, I was throwing up phlim . Went to the ER , they called some specialist in and they put me to sleep, scoped my throat and removed it . I'm on a lot of meds now because I have some type of bacteria in my stomach

Same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago except it was a bone from spare ribs. They said it lodged on top of my trachea and that if it had slipped it would have been lights out. Also said if I hadn't went to the ER and I had fallen asleep, I would have drowned on my saliva because I could swallow anything. They said I have an ulcer and that I have an allergy of some sorts that causes my esophagus to constrict so I have to take meds so I can eat. The wait in the waiting room was terrifying. I started to panic at one point which was not a good thing at that moment and I had to calm myself down. I had a really really really close call on that one.

Guy at work died from it a few years ago...he was in his 20's. I don't remember how bad it was because I was in 2nd grade.

Mono. 2 1/2 weeks of fevering hell. Plus side, that is what spurred me to lose 70lbs..though I lost 22 of it during that stretch.

Spiral meningitis summer before senior year of high school. Hospital for four days. Thought I was going to die. It took me about a year to out all my weight back on. Lost around 25 pounds in those four days. One of the worst parts I can remember was seeing the needle they used to do my spinal tap. I was already sick as a dog but that needle gave me a damn panic attack.

About four months ago I was in the hospital for pancreatitis. That was pretty bad too but not like the meningitis. Only in for three days but it was pretty painful until I was on iv pain meds.

My next door neighbor had that 2 weeks ago...she was in her back yard raking and me and my gf heard her screaming bloody murder like no other. Thankfully her husband works like 5 blocks down the road...he got home fast then he and I had to drag her through the house to get into the front yard where she couldnt stop screaming..ambulance came and got her in time thank god. She was in surgery for over 8 hours. Shes still recouping at home, but said she would have someone stab her in her head 500 times than to feel that pain again.

When I got meningitis I was just hanging out drinking beer at a friends house. Headache developed and within 1 hour I literally thought I would be dead within another hour. Worst pain I have been through. It is amazing how you can be fine one minute and horrible the next with it.

This past summer I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis and had double pneumonia. At one point I had three separate IVs and a drain hose going into my lung. The pneumonia is gone but the Sarcoid makes my life suck these days.

Few weeks ago I got the flu. Down for 10 days. 6-7 days fever 101-103. I felt terrible and wouldn't even wish that on some low life democrats. Last part may be a lie.

Food poisoning, easily.

Three days of pure hell, spewing out of both ends, never knowing when or if.

The first day, you are afraid you're gonna die.

The second day, you're afraid you won't.

My stomach shut down after waking up from back surgery. It swole up like I was a pregnant woman. I've never thrown up,so much in my life. If I had a gun I would've blown my brains out.
