This doesn't make any sense.
They are allowed to do whatever they want when they are at Alabama with minimal to zero consequences. So when they leave Alabama and become professional athletes with tons of money they proceed to carry on like they did at Alabama. It has been ingrained in them that they can do whatever they want and only once they leave college are they held accountable for their actions. The "rigid structure" you're referring to is responsible for them being assholes when they're out in the real world and out of the Alabama bubble.
