Honestly, I couldn't care any less.
She is dominant against other women. That is fine. She likely deserves the award regardless of political leanings.
What Joe Burrow has done, to me, is far more incredible considering his short stint at LSU than what she did. Literally every measurement he has overwhelmed expectations and redefined an entire school along with setting the collegiate game on fire.
Outside him I can't think of anyone else who deserves it besides herself.
Likely, collegiate athletes aren't up for the award, so she gets it.
