After the dispute in the store, the suspect (the employee of the store) followed the customer into the parking lot, entered his vehicle, and began shooting at the customer's vehicle.

This sentence confuses me.

Can we take a second to talk about the city’s punishments for the mandate? Punishing the businesses for customers not wearing masks?!? Holy shite. I’d be fricking livid if I got in trouble for that shite if I was trying my best to enforce it.

Madison County Alabama is doing the same thing.

It is a way for the police to say without saying that they have no intention of enforcing the "mandate".

If it is reliant upon citizens who happen to be business owners to be enforced, it isn't much of a law.

I was merely kicking around a theory. Personal responsibility is important.

Is not wearing a mask enough for cops to have probable cause for a search?

nteresting. I never thought aboot the people not wearing a mask triggering a stand your ground defense.

I bet most judges would not consider the legality, but would deny it because they found it personally distasteful.

I was thinking about it a couple weeks ago. I'm leaning towards potentially getting out of a charge but I'm not gonna be the guinea pig.

If a judge doesn't rule based on legality what's the point of having a judge in a legal sense? We're already through the window so I could definitely see rulings based on feeling being the new standard in this country. Hell, it already happens in major city courtrooms every day.

Ultimately as it stands right now I think the primary factor is jurisdiction.
