They’ve already got the Wurst beer garden downtown which I frequent regularly when I’m around. The only issue is it’s completely open air, so it’s useless in rain or bad weather.

I used to spend a few days a week at Shell in Norco for work. I'm not really sure what you are trying to get at, do people lie about going to Norco?

You can say this about any city in the state though... Lafayette has no airboat tours to offer

There’s a picturesque swamp scene like Henderson 15 minutes from every major city?
I’m saying Lafayette can market itself as a jumping off point for outdoor activites in the Basin, not that people should take airboat taxis down Johnston to eat at Judice inn. With the addition of more camping and hiking options, it could work.
