I stopped buying Anker cables. They would work fine for awhile, but then my Apple products would no longer recognize them.

Amazon has always been dog crap as far as a retail site goes. It's a cluttered klusterfuk with horrible refinement options.

I use eBay exclusively as I can refine product searches down to exactly what I'm looking for and it's not littered with advertisements and product suggestions

So it’s just like shopping anywhere else?

The only real Amazon advantage is being able to buy a bunch of stuff with a few clicks.

You get Amazon's catalog and original content on Netflix?

and yet you claim to actually have a prime subscription.

heres's an example

This item is available because of the Add-on program
The Add-on program allows Amazon to offer thousands of low-priced items that would be cost-prohibitive to ship on their own. These items ship with qualifying orders over $25

ah I thought you meant more like review sites

which as I had been in the mattress market recently, I learned those sites are all bought and paid for, so pretty much useless

That’s the thing about some of these free stuff for good review deals

Amazon stopped allowing that last year and if a seller gets caught doing it their item gets banned from the marketplace so when looking at reviews look at the most recent ones

Speaking of electronics cables and connectors.

Even though I'm a huge eBay fan and I despise Amazon there are a handful of product specific sites that I use that actually have better prices and are easy to navigate than General retail sites like eBay and Amazon.

For cables the best retail site is monoprice.com. their cables are good quality and extremely cheap.

Online shopping is a godsend when you have young kids or have a ton of family out of state. Amazon has always been just a little more convenient with the breadth of their offerings.

Amazon is the US version of aliexpress.com

EBay also lets me set up highly customizable searches and will email me whenever any product becomes available that matches those searches. You can also obviously bid on or make best offer for used products. I've saved shitloads of money on really high quality industrial grade products by buying them used Surplus off of eBay

If a Vine Voice writes a negative review, will it impact his or her reviewer ranking?

No. Writing a negative review will not impact a Voice's reviewer ranking. A reviewer's ranking is determined by the number of helpful votes from other customers. Customers tend to value substantive, informative, detailed and objective reviews, regardless of whether the review is positive, negative, or neutral.

protip: delete your ebay saved searched and set it up in IFTTT instead for hot items. you'll get a push notification right away and can jump on it.

ebay sends the email out once a day so you're way less likely to get a great deal.
