Seriously, where can I fact check these claims?

Some of it is anecdotal...until we make a time machine or resurrect him...it's what we've got.

There are speed kicks clocked, one inch punch videos, 9 hits a second type stuff, and other feats, but all of them aren't on video

What I'm gathering is that he was good at exercising.

Can you shed some light on his actual fighting ability?

Or his ability to take a punch from a guy who is one of the hardest hitters to ever live?

Well, have to admit I'm skeptical. Lee is surrounded by a near mythical amount of legend these days and most of it falls under scrutiny. He was an actor and allowed unverified stories to circulate as fact and I don't even blame him. It was good for business. However, there is plenty of tape and an actual record for Tyson.

That's the thing... it's not even anecdotal. It's just some shite somebody made up out of thin air.

And most of it is laughably ridiculous.

Don't tell that to Mike Tyson

I'm referencing a significant size advantage. Like a middle weight to heavyweight. Similar to the weigh advantage Tyson would have over Lee. Besides, Tyson's losses occurred when the bigger man used that size to his advantage, leaning on him and wearing him down.

Looking super hero fast in a slow shutter speed film is not special.

Have you seen the video of Lee punching a big punching bag? It is cringe worthy and causes all Lee fans to go into hiding.

Vic Moore was a super karate guy back in the day, and had to claim Bruce lied to him because he was punked several times on video...
Moore claimed he could block him, Lee threw 10 punches at him and "hit" the last 8.

Whichever side you believe, it was on VHS back in the day of Lee snatching the smile off his face a bunch of times in a row before he could react.

Anecdotally, he's the fastest and strongest (pfp) of that generation. I know experience doesn't mean much in today's "fact check" world, but it is what it is...

Joe Lewis and Kareem Abdul Jabar trained under him. So we have first hand witnesses who can attest to a lot of it.

From a supposed Joe Lewis interview.
